CONCORD, N.C. -- It’s not your average Black Friday sale. This one could end with you driving your personal car around a race track. NASCAR fans can get a rare opportunity just by shopping at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway for their holiday gifts.

There’s a lot going on at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway before the biggest shopping day of the season. Shopper Darrell Hainline takes a look around the sale items and exclaims, “It’s huge!”

Annette Randall works for the speedway, she says not only are there truck loads of items on sale, but, “This year it’s a two day sale, we’ve expanded and we’re going to have two full days.”

One of her favorite items, “A little Jimmie Johnson bobble head,” costs a dollar. That’s right one dollar. You can find combination gifts, a shirt and a hat, for fewer than 5 dollars.

And because Lowe’s Home Improvement dropped their naming rights to the track for next year, all of the Lowe’s Motor Speedway items are at least 50 percent off. “For fans it will be their last opportunity to get Lowe’s Motor Speedway Merchandise,” says Randall.

Shopper Hank Peters took advantage of the early bird specials on Wednesday. He says, “Everything is majorly discounted, I bought five 20 dollar t-shirts for three dollars apiece.”

The sale is attracting fans of all sizes. Little two year old Nicholas picks out a Jeff Gordon coffee mug for his Grandfather who says, “You picked the right number.” Nicholas’ mom says number 24 is grandpa’s favorite.

The deals are also attracting fans from outside the Carolinas. Hainline is from Alabama, while Peters came in from Florida. But there’s one thing in particular that’s caught the attention of many shoppers.

Randall explains, “If they spend 50 dollars when they’re here they can take their personal car around the track for three laps.”

When Hainline hears that part of the deal, he says, “I think I’m gonna have to come back, definitely!” “Can’t beat it,” adds Peters.

Randall expects, “We’ll have thousands of fans show up.”

And with many of those people taking their personal cars for a spin around the track, it’s safe to say you won't find a faster moving line anywhere else this black Friday.
