CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Customers lined up to get their hands on the Air Jordan 4's that were re-released on Saturday.
The Foot Locker on Freedom Drive tells NewsChannel 36 over 50 customers were lined up to get a fresh pair of shoes.
In anticipation for the sneaker frenzy, Foot Locker opened at 8am – two hours earlier than normal.
The manager tells NewsChannel 36, they received over 100 calls about the sneakers leading up to the re-release. The store only had 24 boxes of shoes.
They sold out in about 20 minutes. The sneakers cost $160.
