CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- No one was hurt in an early Friday morning fire in north Charlotte.
The fire broke out at the kitchen inside a home in the 2300 block of Kennesaw Drive. The home is just west of Interstate 77 north of LaSalle Street.
It took more than two dozen firefighters just about 10 minutes to knockdown the fire around 6:40 a.m.
Two men who live there were able to escape unharmed, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
The Red Cross is helping the two men who will be temporarily displaced from the home.
