LANCASTER, S.C. -- A Kershaw man has died after suffering a gunshot wound on Saturday night, police say.

Officials say Kevisis Emmanuel Anthony, 32, of Kershaw, died Tuesday morning from injuries he sustained during the shooting.

The Lancaster Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the area of St. Paul and Pleasant Hill Streets on Saturday night to find no active scene.

A short time later, officers were notified of a gunshot victim arriving at the Springs Memorial Emergency Room.

Officials say Kevisis Emmanuel Anthony, 32, of Kershaw, was shot in the 9 p.m. on Saturday in the 700 block of St. Paul Street.
