CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- One man has been arrested after a chase in northwest Charlotte Tuesday morning and police are searching for another.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police, officers were called to 1305 Ben Livingston Road just before 11 a.m. for a breaking and entering call.
They were looking for two men in a black Chevy Cavalier who may have stolen a television and a gaming system.
Officers came across the suspect car a short time later and after the driver refused to pull over, police chased the car until it crashed on Toddville Road near Pinebrook Circle.
Both men ran from the car and officers have been able to arrest one of them. They continue to search for the other in a wooded area off of Pinebrook.
