Police: Burger King manager held at gunpoint during robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police say a Burger King manager was ambushed and held at gunpoint by three robbers early Tuesday morning.
It happened at about 2 a.m. at the Burger King restaurant on Westinghouse Boulevard near Interstate 77.
Police say the manager was locking up the restaurant when three men ran up and forced her back inside. They made her open the safe and then ran away with cash, officers say.
The manager was not hurt.
