LINCOLNTON, N.C. -- A Gastonia man is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl for a two month period, according to authorities.
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office charged Cedrick Marquice Delon Wilson, 20, with one felony count of statutory rape of a 13-year-old.
Authorities said the assault occurred between June 1 and July 19 at the home of the 13-year-old victim. The suspect did know the victim but they were not related.
Wilson was arrested by the Gaston County Sheriff’s Office on misdemeanor larceny, probation violation and failure to appear warrants on August 3.
He was turned over to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center on September 11, after serving a 30 day sentence on the Gaston County charges.
Wilson is being held under a $100,000 secured bond at the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center.
