CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A Charlotte woman faces felony drug trafficking charges for allegedly selling prescription pills out of a daycare home.
Carolyn Ellerbe Fields, 54, sold 50 hydrocodone pills to an undercover police officer on Feb. 22 from a Charlotte residence that doubled as a daycare, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
She was charged with two counts of trafficking opium and one county of selling a controlled substance at a child care facility.
