GASTONIA, N.C. -- The Gaston County Police Department needs help finding the owner of missing jewelry.

On June 17 police recovered two jewelry boxes with jewelry and other items inside near the 100 block of Alexis High Shoals Road. 

The items are believed to have been stolen shortly before they were recovered, according to police. The gold-colored jewelry box is about 9x7.

The single earring in the picture is a leaf motif, police said.

In addition to the earrings and the bracelet, a gold colored Master key and a .380 caliber bullet (CCI brand) were also in the recovered boxes.
