CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Meckelnburg police surrounded a home in north Charlotte after shots were fired in the neighborhood late Friday afternoon.
The shooting happened at a home off of Torrence Street around 5 p.m. There are no reported injuries.
Police surrounded a home with patrol cars in the front and back of the property. Several roads in the neighborhood were also blocked off during the investigation.
At the time, police believed a possible shooter was in the home, but after searching the property no suspect was found.
Police are still searching for a suspect and no arrest has been made.
