RALEIGH, N.C. -- It's a big game with an even bigger jackpot.
The Powerball jackpot for Saturday is an estimated $214 million, according to lottery officials.
If one lucky person were to have the winning numbers, by selecting the lump sum payout, the winning ticket would be worth $143 million.
Saturday's jackpot is the largest since September 26, when an Iowan claimed the $202 million prize.
Wednesday's Powerball drawing produced more than 25,000 winners state-wide in North Carolina, with payouts ranging from $4 to $10,000.
