CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Rain and fog have moved into the Charlotte region Friday morning.
The rain came in late last night and will hang around for the majority of the day. The Friday evening commute will be wet and foggy for most of the area.
Look for more light showers to move through around noon and a slight chance of rain into the evening.
Winds will be light and temperatures should be in the upper 50s. The chance of rain today is at 40 percent, according to the First Warn Storm Team.
The rain will give way to cloudy skies later in the afternoon and into the evening with temperatures in the low 50s.
This weekend temperatures get very warm with highs in the upper 60s to around 70°. Record highs for the weekend both days are 75.
Skies Saturday and Sunday will be mostly cloudy but no rain is expected.
Monday will be mild again with highs in the mid to upper 60s and a 30% chance of showers, according to the First Warn Storm Team.
