Tornado warnings expire, severe weather moves on

Tornado warnings in Iredell and Rowan counties have expired, and severe weather is moving its way out of the area.

There are reports of trees and power lines down around the Statesville area but there are no reports of injuries from any of the storms.

In one case, a tree fell on a house on Robinhood Loop, just north of Statesville, while the homeowners watched TV.

Funnel clouds were captured on camera in the Greensville, N.C. area.

"The rain and storms will eventually move out Friday evening making way for a nice weekend -- Saturday and Sunday." 

Sunny skies and warm temps are expected all weekend.  Temperatures will be around 80° both Saturday and Sunday, Sprinkle said. 

There's a chance of showers this Monday evening, with rain likely all day Tuesday into Wednesday morning.
