RANLO, N.C. – Emergency Management in Gaston County is advising Ranlo residents to boil their water before consuming it.
According to officials, a water break was discovered Saturday evening. It happened off Highway 7 near Smyre Drive, east of Gastonia.
Officials say the entire town was impacted. An automated call was sent to residents around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
A second call was sent later Saturday night, officials said.
