MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- The Lake Norman Regional Transportation Commission will host a public meeting Wednesday to discuss the widening of I-77 project.
The meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m. at the Charles Mack Citizen Center (215 N Main St in Mooresville), will feature NC DOT’s Director of Transportation Program Management Rodger Rochelle; Michael Benouaich, the head of Parson Brinkerhoff’s P3 Advisory Services; and David Ungemah, the leader of Parson Brinkerhoff’s Managed Lanes Practice. The men will present and answer questions from attendees.
“This is the best opportunity for elected officials along the I-77 corridor to get the details on the proposed I-77 widening project first hand,” said Chuck Travis, chairman of the LNTC, in a statement.
