ROCK HILL, S.C. -- Rock Hill Police are making sure criminals are exposed by posting surveillance video online in hopes of catching them.

“You can get to see their mannerisms inside a store, through you tube. It’s just another supporting tool for us to use where we can display video from inside these stores,” said Detective Keith Dugan who handles counterfeiting crimes.

For two months Rock Hill Police have been posting these kinds of videos on their you tube channel.

“Since it’s a local community, people will go on there and say I know him and they’ll call us with a nickname,” said Detective Dugan.

The videos have helped police make a number of arrests -- including suspects that are part of a growing trend.

“Right now, I believe that all parts of the country are experiencing large volumes of counterfeiting,” Dugan told us.
