CONCORD, N.C. -- A man was arrested after barricading himself inside a home in Concord Wednesday.
Concord police were called to a house on Green Street Southwest around 3 a.m. after a woman said she had been assaulted by a man in the house.
When officers arrived they found the woman outside the home but the man refused to speak with them and would not let officers inside.
The SWAT team was called to the home and a section of Green Street SW was closed. After a standoff that lasted over 12 hours, the man was taken into custody.
His name has not yet been released and there were no injuries reported.
