SALISBURY, N.C. -- A teen girl is missing from the Salisbury area.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children posted a notice for 17-year-old Charianna Butler.

Charianna, classified as an endangered runaway, has been missing since Saturday, August 10.

Charianna is described as 5-foot-7, weighing 140 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Officials say she's known to wear braids in her hair, as well as wearing black rimmed glasses.

According to the missing poster, Charianna may travel to the Thomasville or High Point areas.

The Rowan County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for another missing Salisbury girl, 15-year-old Erica Parsons. Erica was last seen in November of 2011, but wasn't reported missing until July 30 of 2013.
