CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Officials are investigating a school bus accident that happened on Monday afternoon.
First responders were called to the intersection of Park and Marsh Roads shortly before 3 p.m. Medic tells NBC Charlotte they're treating one patient with minor injuries. First responders said there were no injuries from the bus.
A spokesman with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said the school bus was full of students at the time of the crash.
School officials transported students from the bus involved in the accident to a substitute bus while authorities investigated the incident.
On the scene, a passenger car parked behind the bus had heavy passenger rear damage.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash or which school the students attended.
