CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A popular lingerie store has once again become the target of a sticky-fingered thief.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to the Victoria's Secret in SouthPark Mall just before 11 on Wednesday night after an employee of the store reported a felonious larceny.
The employee told officers that the suspect walked into the store at 8:45 Wednesday night, snagged assorted hoodies and sweats off the rack and fled, without bothering to conceal the stolen goods.
CMPD says the value of the stolen goods is approximately $1900.
This is the second time in recent weeks the Victoria's Secret in SouthPark Mall has become victim to such thefts. On Thursday, January 4, someone shoplifted 50 bras from the store, with a value of approximately $1425.
