UNDATED -- We get a lot of questions about Larry Sprinkle's name. Many wonder if Sprinkle really is his last name.
The answer is yes and Tuesday night Larry's name got national attention with a mention on The Colbert Report on Comedy Central.
“See, you can trust meteorologists because they’re big enough to admit when they’re wrong. Which according to Chad Myers, is for the next 10 days,” Colbert said as the audience laughed. “Weathermen’s credibility is right there in their names folks. Like Storm Fields, Dallas Raines and Larry Sprinkle. Those are names I can trust. Their parents however seem a little shady.”
