ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- Deputies from several counties assisted with an investigation into an area drug ring, which resulted in three arrests.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office says 41-year-old Mirlda Coish, 42-year-old Johnnie Albea and 28-year-old Jenny Roush are responsible for trafficking prescription morphine tablets.

All three suspects are charged with trafficking various amounts morphine and opium.

Roush is also charged with possessing the drug with intent to sell or deliver for allegedly having Oxycodone when police arrested her on Friday.

Coish was placed under a $35,000 secured bond.  Roush was placed under a $15,000 secured bond.  Albea was arrested in Davie County and was incarcerated there.  

Albea was just recently released from prison for a separate drug conviction.
