STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Crews from the North Carolina Department of Transportation have reopened all lanes on Interstate 77 after a tractor-trailer accident Wednesday night.
Officials said all lanes were briefly closed in both directions on Interstate 77 near exit 50 in Statesville due to a tractor trailer accident.
The tractor trailer broke an axle and spilled fuel into the median which took crews sometime to clean up.
Crews were able to reopen all lanes around 1 a.m. Thursday.
