CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The right lane of Interstate 77 south near Clanton Road was blocked  for several hours Tuesday morning after a tractor-trailer flipped and dumped its load of pizzas.

According to Highway Patrol, the tractor-trailer went over an embankment around 2 a.m.

The tractor-trailer was loaded with frozen pizzas that spilled out over the road.  Crews are collecting the pizzas and and cleaning up diesel fuel.
