Vehicle slams into power pole

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A man is in police custody for suspicion of DWI after slamming his car into a power pole knocking lines to the pavement overnight in north Charlotte.
One lane of Mount Holly-Huntersville Road just north of Brookshire Boulevard was shutdown during the morning commute as crews worked to repair the power pole.
