CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- One person is hospitalized after being rescued following a single-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon.
Around 3:15 Thursday, emergency first responders arrived at the scene in the 8800 block of Mallard Creek Road.
A single vehicle was wrapped around a tree. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to free the trapped motorist from the vehicle.
Medic officials say one patient was taken to CMC Main with injuries described as life threatening.
