Wells Fargo Championship starts with Monday's pro-am

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Wells Fargo Championship kicks off Monday with a pro-am at the Quail Hollow Country Club.

Several celebrities and the world's best golfers will be taking part in Monday's pro-am.

NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin, Panthers head coach Ron Rivera, former NBA star Dell Curry and Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney are just a few of the many partaking in the pro-am.

Webb Simpson, Steve Flesch and Mike Weir  will also be playing in the pro-am which starts at 11 a.m.

The Wells Fargo Championship will begin on Thursday. Here's a schedule of this week's tournament:

MONDAY: Pro-Am tee times begin 11 a.m. Practice rounds all day for PGA Tour players.

TUESDAY:
Practice rounds all day for PGA Tour players.

WEDNESDAY:
Pro-Am tee times begin 7 a.m.

Afternoon tee times begin at noon.

THURSDAY: First-round tee times begin 7 a.m.

FRIDAY: Second-round tee times begin 7 a.m.

SATURDAY:
Third-round tee times begin 8 a.m.

SUNDAY:
Final-round tee times begin 8 a.m.
