CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Authorities are on the scene of a bank robbery in south Charlotte late Tuesday morning.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said the Wells Fargo located on South Boulevard near New Bern Street was robbed around 11:30 a.m.
The suspect is described as being a black man wearing a hat and a brown jacket.
The man passed a bank robbery demand note to the teller and exited the bank after obtaining an undisclosed amount of money.
No weapon was displayed or observed during the bank robbery. There were no reported injuries during the time of robbery.
