CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A woman was injured after a fire broke out at a home in north Charlotte Monday night.
Firefighters were called to a home off of McArthur Avenue Monday evening after a pot on the stove caught fire.
Fire officials said the woman tired to grab the pot on the stove but got burned. The victim was taken to a local hospital for smoke inhalation and minor burns.
Officials said there was no major damage to the home.
