CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two people were injured--one seriously--in a multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 77 in north Charlotte late Thursday morning.
The wreck took place around 11 a.m. on the northbound lanes near LaSalle Street and the I-85 interchange.
All four lanes were blocked for about a half hour. At 11:30 a.m. crews reopened one of the lanes, and three lanes were open by noon.
Two people were hurt in the crash--one with life-threatening injuries and one with non life-threatening injuries, according to MEDIC. Both were transported to Carolinas Medical Center.
