AMC theater fire under investigation

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fire officials are investigating after a movie theater caught on fire near Pineville Friday.

According to Charlotte Fire, emergency crews responded to a fire at the AMC 22 on South Boulevard around 9:45 a.m. Officials said it took a team of 31 firefighters just under 20 minutes to get the blaze under control.

No injuries were reported and the cause of fire hasn’t been determined.

Theater management hasn’t commented on how the fire will affect business hours.
