Carolinians commemorate 9/11

Carolina locals commemorated the 15th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina locals commemorated the 15th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks Sunday.

Feelings of solidarity, remembrance and sadness were mixed of with strength and resilience of the country.

A procession of cars holding American flags high by Charlotte's University of North Carolina and local concerts honored the lives lost fifteen years ago.
