Chelsea Clinton campaigns for mom in Charlotte

Hillary Clinton's daughter, Chelsea, made an appearance in Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Chelsea Clinton, daughter of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, made an appearance Saturday to encourage Charlotteans to vote for her mother.

Chelsea first surprised voters at a polling place and then headed over to the Avid Exchange Music Factor to hold a “Question and Answer” rally.

There, she told the audience a story of a little girl in North Carolina, who said she wants Clinton to win for a couple of reasons: one being because she’s a girl, and the other being that she would fear for “monsters.”

“She told me, If Donald Trump wins, the boys in my school will say my dad is going to go back into the closet,” Chelsea said. “And there are monsters there.”

Chelsea also addressed equal pay and gave advice to a 10-year-old girl, who said she also wants to be president one day.
