CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association's longtime music and program director, Cliff Barrows, died in Charlotte at age 93.
Barrows' son, Bill Barrows, told WYFF that his father was suffering complication associated with again and had been in hospice care in Charlotte.
Barrows was known as the voice of the televised crusade events, as he did both the intro and the sign off; he also led the choirs and audience music for the crusades.
“The Christian faith is a singing faith, and a good way to express it and share it with others is in community singing," Barrows' bio on the BGEA website opens.
Barrows will be buried at the Billy Graham Library off Billy Graham Parkway in Charlotte.
