'Funny or Die' takes jab at NC after HB2

Surely by now you've heard about the sweeping legislation the North Carolina General Assembly passed in a special session earlier this week.

In case you've been living under a rock, here's the gist: Charlotte City Council passed a non-discrimination ordinance back in February, which, in part, allowed members of the transgender community to use the restroom with which they identify.

In Raleigh, however, state lawmakers weren't having it, citing safety and privacy concerns for women and children. House Bill 2 struck down Charlotte's ordinance, and took away the power of local municipalities to adopt such ordinances moving forward.

There's been a big business backlash ever since Governor McCrory signed the bill into law on Wednesday, including the NBA being "uncertain" of the future of the 2017 All-Star game, which is slated to take place in the Queen City, along with public denouncements of the bill from the likes of Apple, Google, American Airlines, Wells Fargo and Bank of America.

The conversation even sparked a viral hashtag, "#WeAreNotThis".

And now, Funny or Die, took it upon themselves to get in a jab on the Tarheel State.
