Help a sick child by buying a Christmas tree

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Tis the season of giving to those in need. So, why not give back while buying a Christmas necessity?

Thanks to Hometown Heroes you can buy a Christmas tree and help sick children at the same time.

The organization is donating 100% of proceeds to help children living with critical or terminal illnesses. Hometown Heroes currently helps 39 families in the Carolinas pay for things like living expenses, medical equipment and trips to the hospital.

Indian Trail, NC (On the corner of Mill Grove & Lawyers Road)

- 6301 Weddington Road Wesley Chapel @ Siler Presbyterian Church (Hours: 5 p.m. - 9 .m. M-F, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Saturday & 12 p.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday)

Charlotte location

- 1400 Mallard Creek Road (Hours: 12 p.m.-9 p.m. M-F, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, 12 p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday)
