IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. -- A Troutman man was arrested Monday afternoon after stabbing his brother and fleeing on a moped, according to Sheriff Darren E. Campbell.
Officers responded to a 911 call Monday and found a victim suffering numerous stab wounds to his head, torso and hands.
The suspect, Jerffery Lamont Moore, 48, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. The victim's wounds did not appear life-threatening at the time.
Moore is currently being held in the Iredell County Jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
