Michelle Obama holds rally Tuesday in Charlotte

Michelle Obama will be holding a rally in Charlotte today to encourage millennials to vote for Hillary Clinton.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- First lady Michelle Obama will hold a rally in the Queen City Tuesday to campaign for Hillary Clinton and encourage millennials to vote.

The first lady was in Philadephia earlier this week encouraging young people to vote. On Tuesday, she will take her message to the Tarheel state for the first time.

The rally will focus on the importance of registering to vote as the deadline to register is only ten days away.

Her visit comes days after democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton came to Charlotte to address the recent protests in the city over the fatal police shooting of Keith Scott.

Michelle Obama is scheduled to campaign at noon in Uptown Charlotte's Convention Center and then move on to Raleigh.
