CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- From Ballantyne to Charleston, thousands of people across the Carolinas were excited about Monday’s solar eclipse.
It was the most-observed and most-photographed eclipse in history, according to the Associated Press. Folks from all across the United States traveled to premier viewing spots along the path of totality. Some even planned the trip months before Monday's solar eclipse.
