CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- People across the southeast, including those in Charlotte are scrambling to get gas due to a pipeline leak in Alabama.
The pipeline, which runs from Texas to New York, was cut spilling more than 250,000 gallons of gasoline and disrupting service to millions.
The Colonial Pipeline Company which owns the pipeline says more than 680 employees are currently working to fix the issue. In the meantime, ships and tanker trucks are rushing to the southeast before more gas stations run dry.
