School bus hit by two separate cars Monday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Two cars hit a school bus one after another Monday morning in southeast Charlotte.

The first accident occurred when a SUV driver was attempting to turn left and was blinded by the sun.

The SUV hit the bus with two students and the driver on board. Another car attempted to turn and then also hit the school bus.

The bus had two students and the driver on board. No injuries were reported.

The incident occurred on Sardis Road and Beverly Circle.
