2 injured in accident involving school bus

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident in Uptown involving a school bus.
The accident happened around 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Mint and Bland streets.
Bus 412 from John Motley Morehead Stem Academy was involved, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools spokesperson.  Five students were on the bus at the time of the accident.
NBC Charlotte has a crew on the scene and it appears the bus collided with a taxi.
According to MEDIC, two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
