Shots fired into 2 west Charlotte homes

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say shots were fired into two west Charlotte homes Sunday night.

CMPD says three individuals in a vehicle shot at two houses, one vacant and the other occupied, in the 7600 block of Tuckaseegee Road. As suspects were driving away, they crashed the vehicle and ran from the car and scene.

Police say officers later apprehended two of the three individuals. CMPD did not release their identity.

No one was injured from the shooting, CMPD says.
