A 12-year-old girl from Rocky Mount North Carolina has been reported missing prompting local law enforcement officials to issue an Amber Alert.

Jodie Collier was reported missing from her Rocky Mount, N.C. home Friday morning.

Police believe Jodi Renee Collie is with Phillip Denkler, 27, a two time convicted sex offender, according to the FBI.

Collie has blonde hair and green eyes and is about five feet four inches tall and 115 pounds.

Denkler is believed to be driving a 2005 beige Hyundia Sonata with N.C. license plate number NWM 2630.

Police said Denkler was released from jail last Saturday and started making contact with Collie then.

The two disappeared Friday morning. Anyone who has seen them or the car is asked to call their local law enforcement agency.
