CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Tickets for the Carolina Panthers' divisional playoff game at Bank of America Stadium on Jan. 10 went on sale Thursday and were snatched quickly by eager fans.

Only about 7,000 single-game tickets were available and sold through Ticketmaster starting at 10 a.m. The rest of the tickets went to Panthers permanent seat license holders.

The last time the Panthers hosted a playoff game on Jan. 3, 2004, single-game tickets were sold out less than an hour after they went on sale.

The Panthers are the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs and will face Minnesota, Arizona or Atlanta in the Saturday night game. Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m.
