Buffalo Bills player arrested in Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, S.C. -- An NFL player who started his career in South Carolina is facing charges after spending New Year's Eve in Rock Hill.

Police arrested Ko Simpson in the parking lot of the Celebrations bar on Cherry Road at about 2 a.m. on New Year's Day.

Officers say the former University of South Carolina player was yelling at them and refused to leave as they tried to break up an unruly crowd that had gathered at the bar.

According to the police report, Simpson verbally abused officers and told them, "I'm Ko Simpson with the Buffalo Bills. I am worth millions!"

Simpson, who now plays for the Buffalo Bills, is charged with hindering police.
