Panthers Game Day Forecast | Sun early, rain late

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A cold front will move into the Carolinas Saturday night, spreading rain into the state.
The mountains will see the showers starting during the afternoon while the piedmont and Charlotte area will have a slight chance for showers this afternoon.
A higher risk for rain will come this evening and tonight. The chances for showers in Charlotte are 30% this afternoon, 60% this evening and 80% later tonight.
The high temperature will be in the upper 50s but falling into the 40s by evening. Skies will start to clear on Sunday.
The coldest air so far this season will arrive by the middle and end of the week. High temperatures will only be in the 30s by Thursday and Friday. With the colder air, there will be a slight chance for light snow Thursday.
