Teen shot in stomach

A Charlotte teenager was transported to the hospital after she was shot
in the stomach Thursday night.
The shooting happened at 2170 Weyland Avenue around 11 p.m.
The victim was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with serious, but
non life-threatening injuries. She was not able to give police a
definitive statement on how the happened because of the seriousness of
her injuries.
