SHELBY, N.C.-- A woman lost her arm when she crashed a car near Shelby. Troopers say an 18-month old child was also in that car, but was not hurt. The driver was said to be hanging her arm out of the window when she lost control of the car and side-swiped a tree. There is no word on the woman’s condition at this point
