CONCORD, N.C. -- If you’re headed out to the speedway tonight, temperatures will be around 73 degrees with a 30 percent chance for showers and wind gusts around 25 miles per hour.

There are some showers moving with the cold front tonight, so it will be a good idea to bring your rain jacket. Showers will be isolated and right now the bulk of the activity is to the north of Lowe's Motor Speedway.

After the front moves through, temperatures will fall into the low 50s with clearing skies.

On Saturday, high pressure builds into the area. Saturday afternoon temperatures will be in the mid-70s.  Temperatures for the All-Star Race Saturday night will be around 72 degrees. After the sun sets Saturday, have your jacket handy because temperatures will dip.
